In this session, we’ll explore how to develop a coherent reading plan for elementary Spanish bilingual programs, drawing on the work of Beatriz Diuk and Young‑Suk Kim. We’ll examine evidence‑based approaches to integrating reading and writing, strengthening biliteracy, and supporting language development. The session will also feature a curated list of children’s books from a range of Spanish‑speaking countries to enrich classroom instruction.
